Wings of Faith

“Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” That is how the NIV frames it, but the King James version puts it this way. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.) (Hebrews 11 NIV)

Throughout my life I have exercised faith. Now, as I make a personal and professional transition, I am taking yet another leap off a cliff, hoping that I will not fall on the rocks below, but that God will grow my wings and I will soar.

Faith is not a word. It is actively listening to and following the Spirit’s guidance, knowing that the Spirit will take us where we need to be. Don’t just dream. Dare. Act.

Faith is about trusting God. It is about seeing what he sees in your life before it happens and when it is still invisible to everyone else.

Fear and faith are incompatible. If you truly have faith it banishes your fears. When you have faith, you leap, knowing that He will grow the wings with which you will fly. Look. Leap. Fly. Soar.
Today, in faith, I leap. Now see me fly. Watch me soar.
